Round 2 Game 3 – Oilers vs *ucks

Game Notes EDM vs ANA

Anaheim Ducks (Head Coach: Randy Carlyle) at Edmonton Oilers (Head Coach: Todd McLellan)

NHL Game #243, Rogers Place, 2017-04-30 05:00:00PM (GMT -0600)

Ducks 6-3

Referees: Kelly Sutherland, Chris Lee, Steve Kozari
Linesmen: Michel Cormier, Steve Miller

Three Stars: Jakob Silversurferburger; Ryan Sniffsfarts; Hampus Chokehold

  • Oh well. First loss this series. But you know what? This game doesn’t bother me much at all.
  • This was a desperate Ducks team, fighting to not go down 3-0. I was expecting a much more lopsided game – the Oilers made a game of it anyway.
  • It was unusually shaky goaltending that was the difference. Personally, exactly because I was kind of expecting this, I would have pulled Talbot after 2-0 – get him some rest and LB some playoff experience. Missed opportunity there IMO.
  • Other than that, you’d think we’ll see a much better Oilers team in Game 4.
