Game Notes EDM vs ANA

NHL Game # 854 (Season 20152016)
  • I’m going to go against the grain and say to you that this wasn’t that bad a game. What I hated is that the Oilers should have been the better team in the third period (Anaheim on a back to back), and the Ducks pressed harder.  That’s bad.
  • What does Taylor Hall have to do to get a call in his favour? Get stabbed? Shot?  Help me out here, NHL.

Defense Pairings WOWY

Testing out a new chart!  Each pairing (>2:00 EVTOI) is shown, along with how the individuals on that pairing did without each other on the ice. The axes show DangerousFenwick rates for and against. Note the reversed DFA axis. This lets the chart read naturally, where bottom left is bad and top right is good. The dotted line shows the breakeven line.
